Why guests come

For the lake, the trail, the ice, and the quiet between.

Fishing & boating

Easy access to one of Michigan's great walleye lakes.

Walk down the yard to the shoreline. Bring your boat or your fishing rod. Lake Gogebic is known for walleye, perch, and northern pike, with public launches a short drive away.

Snowmobiling & ice fishing

Park at the cabin. Pull out onto the lake.

In winter the lake freezes thick and the ice fishing crowd makes themselves at home. The cabins stay warm, with a gas furnace and no fuss.

Family time & quiet weeks

A real cabin, not a hotel pretending to be one.

Two bedrooms, a sofa bed, a kitchen that works, a TV when you want it, and a fire pit when you don't. Kids 5 and under stay free. So does the dog.

“Sixth year in a row. The cabins are clean, the dock is right there, and the owners actually know us.”

Fall

Color across the lake, cooler nights, perch fishing in the morning. The best week of the year if you ask the regulars.
